A lot of homes in Bexar County and surrounding counties are on septic systems.  They are typically conventional or aerobic types of systems in place.  When purchasing a home it is a good idea to ask about if the home is on a septic system or on city sewer.  If the home is on a septic system it is recommended to have that septic system inspected.  At Code Blue Home Inspections I am certified through the National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT) along with being certified through InterNACHI as a septic inspector.  Having these certifications provides the knowledge necessary to properly inspect and operate both aerobic and conventional septic systems.
